The Hunter Family Five: Sunday Funday!

Hello all! This past week has been a bit of a rough one, with both girls trading growth spurts and consequently everyone getting less sleep. The weekend, however, has been great. Both girls are as healthy as can be and are growing like weeds. We're estimating they're both around 8 pounds now. They've also continued to become a little more active and aware. Hannah Kate actually discovered her sister yesterday and had this shocked look of "where did you come from?" Obviously she's been aware of her, but it was as if she just finally processed the information. They both have their own way of experiencing the world around them. Charlotte finds one object and just studies it, riveted. Hannah Kate on the other hand is all action and noise, with arms and legs flailing.

We went to church for the second time today, which is a challenge but has been totally worth it. It is just so great for us to get out and about together and start re-introducing some normal routines into our lives. This weekend has also included trips to Target and the grocery store, and some good, long walks around the neighborhood. These outings are always interesting, because pushing a twin double stroller makes you instant celebrities. On every aisle people want to stop and talk about their relative so-and-so who has twins, which is fun initially but can get tedious after conversation number 5. Still, you get to meet a lot of friendly people.
