We had a great Halloween this year! It was almost perfect except that Patrick missed trick or treating because he was on call at work. He has never experienced Halloween with our children yet because there is always something going on with his job on that day. He was out on the ship for Halloween the past 2 years and on call this year... Hopefully next year. But the kids and I still had a great time :-) The girls went to school in the morning, and then that evening we went out trick or treating with some friends in our neighborhood. The kids had a great time despite the light rain we've had nonstop for the past 2 days. Patrick was able to get home in time for dinner so we had pizza with the Prestons and as we were leaving he was called back into work :-(
