Summer Fun

We had so much fun exploring our little area of the world this summer. We went down to Chicago a few times to go on boat ride tours of the city and meet up with friends. We also went up to Wisconsin for a fun beach day at a little lake not too far from us. The kids LOVED playing in the sand and collecting rocks and treasures from the shallow area of the water. And since the kids love seeing the trains pass by all the time around here, we met up with another friend and her children and took a little ride to a town called Libertyville to have lunch one day. The kids had a blast!
