Random Pictures from 2015

This is how Micah looked at the start of 2015! He looks like a little lion with that mane of hair!

Hannah Kate's first visit at the dentist

Charlotte's first visit at the dentist

Micah sat on mom's lap for his first dentist visit

Our first family snow queen! The girls LOVED helping me make jewelry for her and placing jewels for her crown, buttons, and mouth. We don't often get that perfect snow that sticks together for making a snowman so when we did we went all out!

One of the malls near us has a train that you can ride through the mall and the kids think it's so much fun! They act like they're in a parade and wave to everyone we pass, too funny :) This is Charlotte through the window.

The base has a big jumpy house that we frequent in the winters to expend some pent up energy. HK on Patrick's shoulders shooting hoops.

Silly family!

This boy LOVES his cozy coupe! He loved strapping boxes to the top and hauling goods around in it. This particular spring day I dropped the girls off at preschool and we came back home. Even though it was raining he insisted on going outside to play in his cozy coupe with his fireman raincoat and rainboots ;) He cracks us up!

Charlotte helping daddy wash the car

We went to the Milwaukee Zoo in the spring.

This is an outlet mall at Wisconsin Dells. The kids think these buggy's are so funny!

Everybody LOVES Chick-Fil-A! Charlotte enjoying some chocolate milk!

Hannah Kate with a mouthful of chicken!

Silly Micah Man!

I went to Nashville for a weekend for my sister's wedding shower and I received this picture from Patrick while I was gone. He had gotten crab legs to cook and guess who devoured them?....Micah!

Aunt Catie had the most sophisticated flower girls...can't you tell? These girls are so silly!
HK (L) & Char (R)

Our wonderful next door neighbors, the Nebels, moved this past summer when Luis retired and they had a huge party to celebrate his retirement. They had a jumpy house, so much food, a visit from the ice cream truck, and lots of fun! We were so sad to see them move.

The ice cream truck was a huge hit! Char (L), HK (R)

This boy loves Fruity Pebbles as much as his daddy! I had to stop buying it because this is what my kitchen looked like every time he would eat it! And Ozzie apparently has finally found something he doesn't like because he would not eat this cereal off the floor.

Memorial day weekend Charlotte & Hannah Kate learned to ride a 2 wheeled bike without training wheels! I am so impressed that they could do this at 4 years old because I'm pretty sure I was about 7 years old before I could ride a bike by myself.

Micah zooms around on his balance bike and has great balance when he coasts without putting his feet down!

Tough guy!

Micah's favorite food this year...Nutella! He wants it morning, noon, and night!

The little downtown here in Highland Park has a free little Merry Go Round that the kids love to ride over and over again every time we go there.

All 3 kids started swim lessons in 2015 and by the end of the year they were all swimming short distances by themselves!

My little sweet potato!

We see deer all the time in our neighborhood and the kids always get so excited to see them.

There is a lake with a small beach in southern Wisconsin that we like to go to in the summers. We bring lots of buckets and shovels and the kids have a blast collecting lots of rocks from the bottom of the water.

Micah got his big boy furniture with a big boy bed for his 3rd birthday. We needed the crib for Clara's upcoming arrival so he was excited to sleep in a real bed!

HK is such a goofball!

Butterfly Lovers! When we came home one day in the summer we saw a swarm of butterflies flying around the tree behind our house. The kids got so excited and grabbed their butterfly nets to try catching them. They did catch many of them, with the help of dad, and were so happy!
Hannah Kate placed one on her head!

Charlotte also placed a butterfly on her head!

The little kids waiting for the preschool bus in the rain. These kids are all buddies and love playing together before the bus comes.

Each year our town holds an event called "Touch A Truck" where there are all sorts of trucks on display and the kids can get in them and explore and meet the people that drive them. There was a police car, fire truck, ambulance, bulldozer, digger, school bus, tractors, and lots of others. The kids love it!

Patrick had to lift the kids into this huge tractor

There was even a little train that went all around the park that the kids begged to ride. It went about 2 miles per hour and they thought it was wonderful! Patrick rode with the kids and my very pregnant self sat this one out ;)

Micah got carried away decorating his cupcake with sprinkles at a neighbor's birthday party!

Sweet little Clara Bear! That's Micah's hand in the picture, he didn't want to be anywhere that he couldn't touch her for the first couple of months of her life.

I'm thankful we had some really nice weather after she was born so we could still get outside and enjoy playing in the sunshine.

Charlotte playing in our backyard

There is a tire swing for the neighborhood kids just a couple of doors down from us and this was Micah's first time to ride on top by himself and he didn't stop smiling and laughing the whole time!

Aunt Cyndi, Uncle John, Colgan, Candler, and Aunt Catie came to visit us for a weekend in October and I don't know if Clara was ever put down :)

We went to our favorite pizza place in Lake Forest and the kids begged to get pictures in front of these pumpkins.

We went to a birthday party at one of our favorite places, the Kohl Children's Museum. HK was checking Micah out of the play grocery store!

Ozzie cracks us up! We found him laying like this against Clara's carseat trying to snuggle with her :)

Happy Veteran's Day!

Uncle Thomas, Aunt Jess, & Tripp came to visit in November and we went to the Jelly Belly factory in Wisconsin. They have a little train that you ride through the wearhouse and the kids loved riding it!

Micah came into the kitchen wearing this outfit and proclaimed he was ready for school! What more does a boy need if he has his fireman rainboots and a sword?

Sweet little Clara dressed for the cold weather!
