These parents were too tired to wake up earlier than the kiddos this year so we were awoken by them bright and early as usual. As soon as we got downstairs the kids discovered that the Easter Bunny had indeed visited our home and left them some treats. They got some candy, new flip flops, Micah got some choo-choos, and the girls got some new Squinkies. The girls are obsessed with all things tiny so Squinkies are a huge hit since they are tiny little animals, people, creatures, etc. that each come in their own tiny ball. After breakfast the kids went outside for the Easter Bunny egg hunt. They had colored 2 dozen eggs earlier in the week with mom and dad so they loved finding the eggs that they had decorated.
This year we weren't able to attend our church service on Easter Sunday because our church only has 1 service and Patrick & I were scheduled to volunteer in the nursery that week. So we played with the children instead and still had a great time. That afternoon we had 3 other families from our neighborhood over for dinner and just grilled out. It was such a beautiful day that we got to be outside the whole time and even got to do a big egg hunt with all of the kids. Everyone had such a good time and ate lots of good food.

| We pulled some tables out into the common space behind our house and colored the eggs. |

| Micah was more interested in playing than sitting still and coloring eggs. |
